DOLORES LACHETTE OBITUARY

April 1, 1955 ~ December 21, 2022

Dolores A. Lachette, 67, of Silver Brook and formerly of Beaver Meadows, passed away peacefully Wednesday at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Libener) Rashko. Dolores was a former member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Beaver Meadows, and of the Roman Catholic faith.

Prior to retiring, she was the office manager for Skotek Oil Co., McAdoo.

She was a graduate of Hazleton High School, Class of 1973, and was a former committee member of C.H.H.I.P.S. of Hazleton.

Dolores loved the outdoors, camping and sitting by the campfire. She enjoyed spending peaceful time on the bench and fishing at the Paradise Hunting & Fishing Club. Her greatest title was always "Nanny"; she adored her beloved grandchildren. Dolores was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all. Preceding her in death were her sister, JoAnn Karmonick; and brother, Joseph Rashko.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, David Lachette; her daughters, Amy Lachette and fiancé, Michael Circelli, Fern Glen; Amber Lachette-Keister and husband, Mark, Jonestown; and Amanda Maloney and husband, Joseph, Hazle Twp.; grandchildren, Mayda and Kerrianys Keister and Lleyton Maloney; brother, Paul Rashko and wife, Marlene, Hazle Twp.; and nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Wednesday. Monsignor William Baker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at Church of All Saints, McAdoo, at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Assumption R.C. Cemetery, McAdoo.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Damiano Funeral Home, McAdoo.
