Donald J. Dubrawsky, 63, of Drums died Sept. 12 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Gnaden Huetten campus.

He was born in Hazleton, son of the late Donald and Josephine (Sorletti) Dubrawsky.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from 1974 to 1978 with Company C, 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry, attaining the rank of specialist fourth class.

Prior to retiring, he was employed by Consolidated Cigar.

He is survived by his wife, the former Debbie Santoroski; his daughter, Brittany Dubrawsky, whom he had a special relationship with, spending quality time with her as she grew up, she will greatly miss him; his siblings, Denise Pierce, Hazleton; and Barry Dubrawsky, Hazleton; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Parish of Ss. Cyril and Methodius at the Church of St. Joseph, Hazleton.

Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Friends and relatives may call Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s research in Donald’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
