Dennis O. Tomlin

Dennis O. Tomlin, "Duncie," 65, passed away peacefully in his home after a lengthy illness Sunday.

Dennis was born Jan. 28, 1956, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hazleton. He was a 1973 graduate of Hazleton High School. Duncie worked as an operator with Barletta Construction up until retirement in 2017. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Duncie was an accomplished carpenter and wood worker who loved spending time with his grandkids.

Duncie is survived by his parents, John C. Jr. and Sara Mae (Fegley) Tomlin, Lofty; wife, Lori (Zabrosky) Tomlin; and granddaughter, Lydia, Lofty; daughter, Brittany Tomlin and her fiancé, Jeff Labert; grandchildren, Abel and Sianna, Delano; three brothers, John III "Pepper" and the late Wendy Tomlin; Joe "Telly" and wife, Alicia; and Philip "T"; two sisters, Suzy and husband, Lester Fenkner; and Jaci Redgate, all of Lofty; several stepchildren, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, Mahanoy City. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass.

All COVID-19 regulations will be followed and everyone attending must wear a mask.
