JEAN PAISLEY OBITUARY

Jean Paisley, 66, of Hazle Twp. passed away peacefully Jan. 16 with her sister by her side after a two-year battle with cancer.

She was born in Hazleton, daughter of the late Walter and Eva Tomkiewicz.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brother, Thomas Tomkiewicz.

Jean loved taking long walks outdoors, taking pictures of nature, gardening, cooking, camping, fishing and traveling. She also learned to read music and play guitar and keyboard. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two sons, Zachary and his wife, Ashley, and Tyler; two granddaughters, Arianna and Gia Bella; her former husband, Allan Paisley; twin sister, Joan Gallagher and her companion, Paul Shostak; and a brother, Thomas Tomkiewicz.

Funeral services are private and being held at the convenience of the family, with interment in Calvary Cemetery, Drums, under the direction of Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., Hazleton.

Donations in Jean's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Hazleton Animal Shelter or WVIA would be appreciated by the family.
